Response paragraph

The novel “The Absolute True Diary Of A Part-Time Indian” by Sherman Alexie, shows us that Rowdy is not only a bully but Junior's best friend. Martin Luther King Jr.'s words, “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people,” describes however mean people may be towards others its almost worse for the good people to stand by and let it happen; an event that occurs in the novel. Rowdy is Junior's “frenemy” because throughout the story her protects Junior, but also hates Junior because of the fact that he left the rez. And when everyone is bullying Junior Everybody including rowdy, everyone chooses to be bystanders.
